It is easy to understand at first, but it has quite a bit of depth if you want to optimize teams, synergies, and abilities, so it caters to both casual players and those who enjoy min-maxing everything. Building your ideal team with classic and new Servants is one of the most addictive parts of the game. Additionally, you will have to level up your characters, improve their skills, unlock personal stories, and combine them into teams to face missions, events, and challenges. Anime and gacha fans will appreciate this section, because each Servant has its own personality, voice, and lore.

My thoughts on Fate/Grand Order

When I tried Fate/Grand Order I was surprised by how seriously it takes its story for a mobile game; it has very well-written and quite emotional moments. Combat is easy because it's automatic, but it gets addictive once you start optimizing teams, and as for the gacha… well, it's Fate, so get ready to love and hate the summoning system in equal measure.

The best and the worst of Fate/Grand Order

• What I liked most is the massive story it has, the legendary characters, and the production level, which makes you feel like you're inside a playable anime.

• What I liked least is that the gacha system can be quite harsh if you are looking for specific Servants.
